Parting Remarks

Waking up to 40+ DMs every day with DSA doubts used to feel overwhelming — but now that those messages have slowed down (or even stopped), there’s an odd emptiness that I haven’t quite figured out how to fill yet.

I began this Kohort with one simple goal: to help my juniors move beyond just writing basic syntax and truly understand what problem-solving means. To encourage spending more time thinking logically and approaching problems with clarity before even touching the code. That mindset will carry you a long, long way.

I’ve tried to show you the way, to act like the training wheels while you learned to balance. But now, it’s time — you’re ready to explore topics and tackle problems on your own. I’ve nudged many of you to try CodeChef contests, and once you consistently solve questions there (and on Codeforces too, lol), you’ll find interviews way easier.

Everything I’ve shared is what I wish someone had given me during my first-year summer break. I hope you’re now in a far better place than I was back then.

Just one request: don’t hoard what you’ve learned. Help others grow. The more you share and support others, the more you’ll grow yourself. Our campus needs a better coding culture — and that won’t happen overnight. It starts with us. With you. If each of you encourages your own circle of friends to think critically and become better programmers, we’ll be laying the foundation for a thriving environment for the juniors to come.

"Change begins with you. Be honest, be authentic. DSA toh hota rahega :)"
